NEWS:

March 27, 2009:

A small update on what's going on for the time being.

1. Work commences on the debut solo double album "Ambiguous Field of Definition" (AFoD), lots of drum tracking will be done in April. Album will come out in 2009 or 2010 - not promising anything, though.

2. Trondheim Therminorkester enters the studio on April 18 to record what will perhaps become an album (or at least some sort of demo recording).

3. Work on another solo album called "Phase 1 (1989-1990): Drawing Lines" will start in May/June and run simultaneously with the recording of AFoD. This album will most certainly come out pre-summer 2010, at least on vinyl. Drawing Lines is my master degree assignment, it's also the record I wanted to make at the age of 10, and the first of many releases in the "Phase" series, in which I finally make available all the songs I have written in the past.

4. I'm moving back to my home town Moss on May 1, where I will set up a temporary studio in parents' cellar, until I have money and room to build a new studio.

September 14, 2008:

So, the site is alive again, after a few years being nothing but a poorly updated "progress" indicator for Eth Eonel's debut album (which will be done when time is due, sometime in the future).

Eth Eonel has begun his master degree in Music Technology at NTNU, Trondheim, scheduled to finish in June 2010. What exactly his master assignment will be is not yet clear, but it most certainly will involve recording music.

January 22, 2006:

The diary has not been updated in the last few weeks, but all dates will be covered and diary will be up to date (literally speaking) shortly.

Eth Eonel has participated in a project called Exquisite Corpse, mixing together parts contributed by different artists. Head on over to the Exquisite Corpse site and listen to the melody called "Weeping Corpse".

Also, the aforementioned compilation on which Aloysius will be featured will be released very soon, within the next week, actually, according to the producer. So let's cross our fingers.

October 7, 2005:

Some updates to the website. Note that the diary is updated every (other) day, so check back often if you find it interesting. The biggest news (releases, concerts, media appearances, interviews and site updates, will be posted on this news page.

Eth Eonel will be featured, singing and playing keyboard, along with his bandmates in Aloysius, on a compilation release called "Brænderi Rock". The 3 songs recorded for this release were "Silver Screen Eyes", "Cryptogeneous" and "Individualism", all with lyrics written by Eth Eonel.

Aloysius will most probably embark on a release tour together with the other bands on the compilation. More on that as it is decided.
